Art Legacy | Art Legacy is an art therapy resource designed by Philarthropic with the aim of providing a versatile, useful and inclusive tool for professionals and patients, designed specifically for those with terminal illnesses who need or prefer to simply contemplate and discuss images instead of working with traditional art therapy methods. When a patient chooses a session of this type, they explore their reactions to a series of images, eventually selecting a single work from the collection to consider in further depth throughout the remainder of the time spent with the art therapist. At the end of the session, the patient is offered a framed copy of the selected photograph which they can give to the person of their choice before their death.
