MERIDIA CAPITAL:
ENGINE OF CULTURAL REVITALIZATION

Meridia Capital integrates itself as a new neighbor of the artistic center La Escocesa in the Barcelona neighborhood of Poble Nou. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the center, Meridia Capital is actively linked to their activities.

Through a spectacular mural intervention and a retrospective on the Festival de Murals, the artist Zosen recalled his time making work in this center for creation. For a number of years, the festival in Barcelona was an annual meeting point for muralists from all over the world, becoming a reference for urban art on an international scale.

This type of intervention has not only allowed for the visual renewal of the center, but has also become an opportunity for Meridia Capital to be involved and linked with the community — acting as an engine of cultural revitalization and impacting socially through the power of art.
