Every year we publish the results of our efforts, making clear where our profits go. Our aim is to be as open and transparent as we can be with the outcomes of our project. To see details on a particular year, click on the links in the list below.
Kartma / Filartropía SL is a limited partnership company for social impact. We are not an NGO.
A social impact company is profitable while generating an extraordinary social or environmental contribution. This model allows us to work freely as a service and product provider that can generate its own funds in a sustainable way to fulfill our cause without the need to ask for donations. We make the client part of the process while sharing the social output. This gives them back a double value. We believe doing business this way should be the new normal.
We all win. This is what we call the circle of virtue.
Our profits are reinvested into social impact initiatives.
This doesn’t mean that we exclusively donate to NGO’s or foundations. We invest in research, generate employment, cover therapy costs, pay for public space art interventions and collaborate with programs that have a direct and sustainable social impact.
Our project’s premise is clear: our team works doing what they love. What moves us is the nature of our projects where using art we are able to give back, transform and replicate this model. We feel realized, thus committed. We want to amplify this circle.
We will keep our freedom in deciding where and how we give back.
Our social initiatives have different natures. We want to explore, learn and keep our freedom and flexibility to adjust accordingly where we think we will impact more and better.
Our accounts are public. We would be delighted to explain any aspect in further detail. If you have any doubts regarding how we give, please contact us, here. ↗
Even with the obstacles that we were met with during 2020 — globally and as a company — we were able to make a measurable impact through the projects carried out over the year. We created new alliances with Fundación Quiero Trabajo and Photographic Social Vision — partners during 2020 and beyond. Looking back on a difficult year, we find power in the ways that small gestures can have lasting impacts. 2021, here we come!

We hit the ground running from the start of this year. We were able to grow as a company and share that growth through sustainable, measurable social impact initiatives. The four areas in which we’ve impacted are: awareness campaigns, art therapy, space interventions and educational workshops.

Since we knew that our first year wouldn’t be profitable yet, we made the firm commitment to raise €25,000 for mothers2mothers, one of our selected causes working to eliminate paediatric HIV in 8 sub-saharan African countries.
Our launching event in November allowed us to make this possible through the sale of artwork from our circle of collaborators.
